Our School

Colegio Arjí was founded in 1978 as an innovative school which offered to the society of Tabasco a comprehensive education model with an original programme of Human Development and Social Service, being the first bilingual institution in Tabasco.

In 1988, with the implementation of the Diploma Programmes for 2nd and 3er grades of High School, we became part of the International Baccalaureate (IB), whose foundation office is located in Geneva, Switzerland.

In 2009, we obtained the authorization for implementing the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for students from the 1st grade of Secondary to 1st grade of High School and in 2010 the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for students from Kinder I to 6th grade of primary, enriching our national academic programs.

In such way, we became one of the 13 schools at a national level and one of the 310 schools in the world that offer to their students, at the moment, the three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. Currently, 4546 schools offer at least one of the IB programmes in the world.

We have been serving the community for more than 40 years based on our motto “Know Yourself” (Conócete a ti mismo) and being the best educative option in the State of Tabasco.
